How do you drain the Freon before attempting this rip and replace?

what is the torque spec on honda hrv 2020 i saw on internet and forum says most of them said 32foot lbs now it broke pieces inside how do i get it out?

Alright Danny, two years later hows it held up?

Danny help me out. My AC works and the clutch engages and disengages like its supposed to for 10 minutes then it just quits and dont engage again. Does this sound like low freon? I tried recharging it with freon a while back and i tried the fuse swap nothing. Everything else looks fine like u mentioned but i don't know what to do. Should i try to recharge my ac again maybe i didn't do it right??

Thanks Danny! I in India cant find this gasket, and shipping it in is very expensive for me, can i use a high heat silicone sealant instead, keeping the gasket as it is to stop a leak?

Hi, I'm about to do the same operation on my Civic. But when I called Honda, they told me they only have one o-ring which is the black one. I've done some researches and found some pics of Honda Genuine part having both o-ring inside. The question is... do you guys think that the black one could be used for the orange one? Just replaced the gasket and it was straightforward. Of course following your vid step by step 🤙🏽! With the solenoid off, I replaced the pcv valve as well since it was easier to get to. Many thanks for your vids! Game changer!🙏🏽

Your videos are excellent. Just finished on my 2005 with 225,000 miles. 178 to 180 psi on all 4 cylinders. I'm relieved but my "crank no start" is still present. Fuses good, new fuel pump, new fuel relay, new coil packs, new plugs, new battery, alternator good, plugs are wet with gas, new crank and cam sensors, new map sensor, new throttle position sensor, new injectors, new idle air control valve, throttle body clean. Stumped. Hopefully not the wiring harness. Can't imagine since it was running fine and then no start all of the sudden. Thanks Danny !

Am having 2010 honda civic 1.8 l 4 cyl automatic not giving proper mileage. Fuel Tank Capacity 50Liter It will give 560 kilometers if I fill up fully for the long travel. When am drive inside the city for full tank its giving me 290 to 300KM These are the steps that I have done. 1. Clean the mass airflow sensor. 2. Clean the throttle body. 3. Clean the plugs. 4. Changed the engine oil and gear oil. 5. Clean the fuel filter. 6. Clean the fuel Injector. Please assist me with this.

Does Walmart still sell those batteries with the servicable caps? The last time I looked (a year ago) they'd switched to a different supplier with sealed tops (walmart's web pages still show the old, Johnson Controls batteries with the caps. But, when you go to the store they're not the same.). I'm wondering if you reviewed a battery nobody can get now? I hope I'm wrong. I liked the original (capped) batter. I don't trust the sealed ones because I typically had to add distilled water twice a year. If I didn't, it would go down to the plates, and then that's the end. I don't think the sealed "maint free" batteries can prevent that can they?

I saved my power steering return line , and I used this old line to flush the old power steering fluid.

3:16 mine stays stuck at -19 psi and loses the vacuum slowly. I have replaced both hoses and valves and the condenser is still good. What could be causing this?

Hi, I have tried the same way to my civic 2009 but not working, do you know is there another way to diagonose it? I found that the aux port grounding is fine and the multimeter shows it has current through between the white, yellow and blue when the aux cable is plugged in. Do you know how to test out other wires in the plug? Or any potential component to be checked?

Well you're over 10,000 subs. So mechanic filled with new freon and the A/C got cold, but a few days later it was blowing warm air. Mechanic did not detect leak. Clutch kicks on. Your thoughts?

I can't believe that they made the hole on a firewall just big enough so that you could see it and almost get it out but it's small enough so that you have to take the whole dashboard apart
